Olympic Hopefuls

Watch for these little guys in the 2024 Summer Olympics

Evi and Gavin make a great rowing team!

Plus they score extra points for cuteness.

Evi and Gavin competing in the 2 foot crawl.

It takes great concentration!

Baby gymnastics: Evi about to complete the 1/2 half roll.

Gavin has great strength in the "raised head" stand.

Gavin is pouting because he got the silver, while Evi is shocked she took home the gold.

Five years ago today was the day I met my wonderful husband. Strangly enough we both agreed to go on a blind date, something that neither one of us had ventured on doing before. John picked me up and we head to La Crosse for a movie followed by dinner. I was surprised when John took me to The Freight House to eat since it is extremely nice and pricy. I guess he wanted to make a good impression:).

Well the rest is really history. Here we are five years later happily married with a house, dog, and two beautiful twins. I am so lucky to have married my best friend. I love you sweetie!

A Day in the Life of a Mom of Multiples

So I get this question alot. "Do they eat at the same time?" "Do they have a schedule?" My answer to that is a definite YES! For my own sanity and well being they have been on a tight schedule since about 4 weeks old and I feed them at the same time when ever possible. It just saves so much time. I really don't see how you could do it any other way with multiples. But I have noticed they seem to like having a routine. In fact they have been sleeping through the night for the past month. So here is what a typical day looks like in the Bolger household.

6:30-7:00am- wake-up and bottle
7:30am- playtime on floor
8:30am-nap
10:00am-get dressed and bottle
10:30-playtime
12:00pm-nap
1:00pm- bottle
3:00pm-nap
4:00pm-bottle
5:00pm-playtime with dad
7:30pm-bath
8:00pm bottle bed
11:00pm- get them up for last bottle (dream feed)

Some pictures from this weekend.

Turn up Your Speakers!

I just was introduced to the song that I added to the blog by a friend and it is perfect for our family! It is One Boy, One Girl by Collin Raye. I get tears in my eyes every time I listen to it.
